Where

Huyton Social Badminton Club - Sessions

The session is held at Huyton Leisure Centre (near the Asda). 

When

Thursdays from 7pm - 9pm. We start off by warming up before playing doubles until it's time to finish.

Who

Anybody is welcome to come along - from complete beginners who want to learn to play - to the advanced who want to teach the beginners a trick or two!
 
Don't worry about coming on your own and having no one to play a game with as we rotate players. People are usually paired together who are of similar ability.
 

Cost

£3 - Paid to Julie on the Badminton Court rather than at reception.

What to wear

There are no rules when it comes to what clothing to wear - just wear whatever feels comfortable - if all you have is a pair of tatty jogging pants and a t-shirt then wear that. The fashion police won't be there!

 

Trainers wise, non-marking indoor trainers are the best to stop you slipping all over the court.

What to bring

Apart from oodles of energy and enthusiasm the only other thing you need to bring is a racket. Although someone usually has a spare one available, there aren't any to hire so it may be best to bring your own. Shuttle will be provided.
 
You'll also need to bring some water with you as it can get quite hot!
